Privacy Policy

Last updated on 18 September 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines how Lengliim LLP (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. Committed to safeguarding your privacy, we adhere to applicable data protection laws in India.

Information We Collect

What you give us. When you open an account we collect your name, and an email address or a mobile number. If you set a password we store it only as a scrambled (hashed) value, never in a form anyone here can read.

When you buy from us, in store or online, we collect what you bought and where it is going: the delivery address, and a Google Maps link to it if you choose to add one. A saved address can also carry the name and phone number of whoever should be asked for on arrival, which may be someone other than you.

We record how a payment was made — cash, card, UPI or cash on delivery — and the amount. We never collect card numbers or UPI IDs: card and UPI payments are completed on the payment provider’s own machine or app, not through this website. If you ask for a refund to be paid into your bank account, we will ask you for the account details needed to make that transfer, and we use them only for that; details you send us by WhatsApp or email remain in that conversation. For business customers who need a GST invoice, we also record a GSTIN and PAN, along with any credit terms agreed.

If you report a fault we collect what you tell us about it, together with any photographs or video you attach. If you write a review we collect your rating, your words, and any photographs or video you attach.

What we record as you use the site. While you are signed in we keep a record of what you have bought, what is in your basket and your wishlist — both held on our servers, so they follow you from one device to another — and which product pages you have looked at. Our staff can see this when they are helping you, and the till suggests products based on what you have bought before.

What your browser tells us. Our web server records the address your device connects from (its IP address) in its logs, which we use to keep the site running and to limit abuse. Google Analytics separately collects information about your visit — see Analytics below.

How We Use Your Information

  • Processing and fulfilling orders, offline or online.
  • Providing customer support and responding to service requests.
  • Improving products, services, and website functionality.
  • Sending you the messages described in the next section.

Messages We Send You

When you sign in with your mobile number we send a sign-in code over WhatsApp. Without it you cannot get into your account, so this one cannot be switched off. We also send updates about a service request you have filed, by email and by WhatsApp.

About a month after a delivery we send one email asking what you think of what you bought. It is sent once per item and never repeated. We do not send promotional offers or marketing campaigns. If you would rather not receive that review request, tell us and we will stop it.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website sets no cookies of its own. When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser’s own local storage on your device, and it stays there until you sign out.

Google Analytics does set its own cookies and similar identifiers when it loads, which is described below. You can block or delete these in your browser settings, and the site will keep working normally.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a Google service, to understand how visitors use this website: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and what device and approximate location they use. It works through cookies and similar identifiers, and the information is collected and processed by Google. We use it only in aggregate, to improve the site. Google Analytics does not load on our staff pages.

Google explains how it handles information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To stop Google Analytics recording your visits, install Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block cookies in your browser.

Who Else Sees Your Information

We use a small number of outside services, and this is all of them:

  • Google Analytics, for the website statistics described above.
  • AiSensy, which delivers our WhatsApp messages. Your mobile number is sent to AiSensy each time you sign in with it, because that is how the sign-in code reaches you.
  • Zoho Books, our accounting system. Customer and invoice records flow from Zoho into this site; nothing is sent back out to it from here.
  • Our email provider, which delivers any email we send you.

Beyond those, we share information with legal authorities where the law requires it or to protect our rights, and if the business is ever merged or sold, customer records would transfer with it.

What Other People Can See

A review you write is public. Your name, your rating, your words and any photographs or video you attached are shown on that product’s page to anyone who visits it, whether or not they have an account.

If you file a service request, the tracking link we give you opens that request to anyone who has the link, so treat it as private and share it only with people you want to see it.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We do not delete customer records automatically, and there is no fixed retention period: an account, its orders and its service history stay with us indefinitely. If you would like your information removed, contact the Grievance Officer below and we will tell you what we can delete and what we have to keep — some records, such as tax invoices, we are required by law to retain.

Your Choices

  • See and update your saved delivery addresses from your account page at any time.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting the Grievance Officer below.
  • Ask us to stop sending the review request described above.

Security

Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, never in readable form. The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and us is encrypted in transit. Access to staff tools is checked against the account’s current role on every request, not just at sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page, and the revised policy is effective immediately.
